As you may have noticed, shinyspinning is on a bit of a post-thesis hiatus. Apart from the odd conference, I'm taking a self-imposed break to enjoy some of those quality of life things such as hanging out, getting a little sleep, doing a little exercise, watching a few movies...I'm trying to hold off on any new projects until the upcoming year, just to let all the old ones settle. Plus I have my first-year courses to keep me occupied-- Systems of Media Representation is just winding down, and I'm excited about this upcoming term's New Media Images. Databases! Procedures! Networks! Open works! Gah...I'm a big geek...
