Sonic Constructs is an interactive sonic installation using Mindstorms robotics. As the robots negotiate (scratch, move, collide, and of course break apart and leave Lego bits all over) a resonant soundstage, they create a collaborative composition that is then further manipulated...because generative just ain't pretty? Bonus points to Sonic Constructs for acknowledging and incorporating one of the glorious truths of Lego...the delicate and ephemeral nature of Lego constructions.
