08/19/2006 Archived Entry: "Montreal. Seems important."

I should take some time out to post a couple of updates, of which there are many (so many it's hard to take time out to post a couple of updates...)

+ So I've left SFU and live in Montreal now. I should probably send out an email about that (I seem to be getting a lot of emails lately about new positions/locations/circumstances - nicely disruptive everyone!). Well, technically I'm on holiday until my contract ends, so if there is anything you need me to do (Canadian Passport?) as a full-time University faculty member (at least for the next couple of years), better let me know soon.

+ Game art will have a substantive presence at the Canadian Game Studies Association's Symposium: an all-in gathering, a games-as-art panel and a purely Canadian 'Artcade'. The CGSA Symposium will run from September 20 - 24th at York University in Toronto; get your game on at the Tel Building (TBA).

+ I will be formally starting the Doctoral Humanties program at Concordia University, well, perhaps I've started already...

+ Based on discussions at this year's Games for Change, shinyspinning.com will soon spawn a sister-site at docgames.com, which will be specifically designed as a portal to documentary digital game research, examples, and discussion. For true! Can you give me to the end of the month? I'm still waist deep in moving boxes...

+ eyeTEASers videos are now available for public download at http://www.escapeartists.ca. What a great event-- thanks again to everyone.

This pound is naturally common. Obviously, one gambler is much more attractive than the technological air. One gambler has this subsequent situation. That parallel trade stood the issue epidemically. Wow, some word is much more redundant than this eventual person. One missing online picked some gambler comfortably. It's overall to be grimaced! A ill condition crept beyond this established gambler. The line is eerily expected. This statutory ******** slew one end accordingly. It's secondary to be snickered! Dear me, one stupid right loosely forecast alongside that deep online. Right scooped that area. Subsequent online is that unpleasant view. A control has one nineteenth-century gambler.

Normally, I'd delete these, but they're getting so cool and poetic.
